Bailey Ruth Brenneman and I have been spending some quality time together. She loves to take a nap on her Aunt Bubba.

Riding Lesson
Here's Heather's 2nd riding lesson on Roxy the bike.
Today, we worked on turning. Too bad there is no sound, because when she pulls up the 2nd time, she says, "This is scary!!" I don't think she'll be buying a bike anytime soon.

St. Louis
Here are some pics from my trip to St. Louis. Never been there before. My hotel was way on the outskirts of town and I only got downtown once, but that's ok. I was actually kind of scared to be downtown. I just kept getting warned about bad parts of town, so I didn't want to end up someplace dangerous.
I went to the Gateway Arch. It's $10 to ride in little cars to the top. The cars are weird little pods that barely fit 5 people. I felt like I was riding in Dr. Evil's egg in Austin Powers.
At the top you can see a lot, but it was cloudy when I was there. They say you can really feel the wind, but I didn't really mind it. I remember feeling it more at the Washington Monument, but the Arch is higher.
Edward Jones Stadium where the Rams play.

NCAA Tourney 2009
These pics are from the 2nd round game in Iowa City. In the first round OK beat Prairie View A&M. Who the heck is Prairie View A&M you say? That's what I said. Evidently it's in Texas. The best surprise w/ them was their coach...only one of the best women's bball players ever...Cynthia Cooper. Unfortunately I forgot my camera in the car that day.
Iowa lost the first round game to Georgia Tech. Boooo.
In this 2nd round game, GT gave OK a run for their money in the first half, but the Sooners turned it on in the second half and won the game by a sizable margin. My seats were in the 10th row, not bad, but in the second half I moved to a front row seat. I was able to get good pics of each of the Paris twins, Ashley and Courtney. One of the players who sparked OK's second half run as Carlee Roethlisberger. That's right, Ben's little sis. She is a heck of an athlete, and only a sophomore.
